Meet Rocket Girl Glass

The history of Rocket Girl Glass:

I found my love of glass while traveling around the world supporting mission operations for the International Space Station at NASA.  In every country I would find a local artist and purchase a glass piece to add to my personal collection.  In 2006, while examining the glass art I acquired over the past several years, I wondered if I could learn to create glass art using my own special touch.  I found some local glass artists that taught me the basics and my love for glass grew from there.  I have studied glass fusing from some of the best glass artists and instructors in the business.  Glass is very sensitive to temperature and the amount of time exposed at that temperature.  It’s a balancing act that challenges the technical side of me as a NASA engineer and each piece is a joy to create.   All of the pieces I create use only the highest quality art glass and accessories.  If you ever have a question about the glass art you have purchased, please feel free to contact me at any time.
